Coriander seeds

The dried seed of the coriander plant, with a warm, citrusy flavour quite different from the fresh leaf, used whole or ground in spice blends.

Dry-toast and lightly crush them just before use for the fullest flavour, as pre-ground coriander loses its aroma quickly once opened.
