Pasta twirls

A corkscrew-shaped pasta (similar to fusilli) whose ridges and curls are great at catching thick sauces and small bits of vegetable or meat.

Cook in plenty of well-salted, boiling water until just tender with a slight bite (al dente), then toss straight into the sauce rather than draining and leaving to sit.
