Recipe Ingredients

  • 125g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 300ml milk
  • pinch salt

Recipe Instructions

1. Sift the flour and pinch of salt into a mixing bowl and make a well in the middle. Break the egg into the well and whisk the egg and gradually add in the milk and continue to beat the mixture together until it is smooth.

2. Melt some butter in a frying pan. Add enough batter to just cover the base of the frying pan and cook until golden brown on the bottom.

3. Loosen sides and fli and cook other side.

4. Repeat until all batter is used.
