Balsamic glaze

A thick, syrupy reduction of balsamic vinegar (sometimes with added sugar), used to drizzle over salads, cheeses and roasted vegetables.

Drizzle it sparingly over a finished dish as a garnish, since its concentrated sweetness and acidity go a long way.
